How to Make Money Fast in NFS Most Wanted

Every new car and every upgrade in NFS Most Wanted costs cash, and early in the career there's never enough of it. Here's how to make money fast and get your dream car into the garage.

Win races

Races are where the money is. Every race you win in the career pays out cash, and the events later in the game pay a lot more. So the fastest way to make money is simple: keep racing and keep winning.

Take the cash markers

Every time you beat a Blacklist rival, you get to pick two markers out of six. Some of them are straight cash, like the $20,000 bonus after Big Lou at #11. If you don't need a pink slip or a Get Out of Jail card right now, take the money.

Sell the cars you don't drive

Your garage fills up fast, especially once you start winning rivals' cars with pink slips. Cars you don't drive anymore can be sold for cash, so clear out the garage and put the money into the car you love.

Don't get busted

Getting busted costs you. To get your car back from the impound you pay cash or use a marker, so every bust eats into your money. Learn the best ways to lose the cops in NFS Most Wanted and keep your cash.

Know the difference between bounty and cash

Bounty doesn't go into your wallet. You need it to unlock the next Blacklist rival, so build it up in pursuits, but your cash comes from races and markers.

Is there a money cheat?

Not on PC. NFS Most Wanted has only two cheat codes, and neither of them gives you money. Here are all the NFS Most Wanted cheat codes for PC.

Spend it right

Once the cash is coming in, put it where it counts: performance parts first, then the looks. A new paint job or body kit also lowers your car's heat, so it helps with the cops too.
